Policy and content consultant Alison Ahlgren developed a placement policy and mechanism using ALEKS for the University of Illinois Department of Mathematics which has been in use for the past three years. This mechanism is spreading throughout the country to large institutions with placement and remediation needs, such as the University of Texas. Alison redesigned and created several courses at the University of Illinois.
Marc Harper, formerly at the University of Illinois, assists in the implementation of placement policies, providing support for authentication, data retrieval, and data management.
